Legislature Wastes Time With Flags
If taking out your political frustrations on a symbolic piece of cloth weren't such a powerful statement, people wouldn't care so much. Something is wrong when the symbol becomes more important than the idea. The ACLU will see you in court, folks.
Can't Anyone Here Play This Game: The North Liberty circus continues; Mayor Dave Franker's resignation is followed by the city administrator standing down, and that's followed by a petition on the city's form of government.
This type of thing makes me not even want to own a flag. I mean, what if by accident it touches the ground or something? It's not worth the potential trouble to even have one. It's embarrassing that we elected a house like this.
