Death Rattle

Death rattles:

"It would be most beneficial if we resolved this nomination sooner rather than later," said U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz of Florida, a high-profile superdelegate who backs Clinton. "The more time we have to get through a general-election period and the more time we have to prepare in advance of the convention, the better."

I mean, it's a good thing, but if even Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the biggest Florida-Hillary apologist, is saying it's over, it's reeeeeally over.

  • Today used to be Super Tuesday, but in the rush to Go First, a lot of states moved their presidential contests up. Yet they weren't willing to have their own races moved so early, so they decided to pay for two elections and left their congressional primaries alone.

Politics1 and CQ have handy guides to today's contests.

I'm largely out of the loop today, but will check in when I can.
