Newt Gingrich, who is either running for president or selling books by making people think he's running for president, writes off the People's Republic of Johnson County:
“The other thing you also have to do is figure out how you’re going to take on political correctness in universities . . . They only recruit from people who are nuts. You end up with people who are so far to the left that they are literally not in contact with reality.”Also, in his historic pattern of over-reach (see the 1995 government shutdown for details), the Newt thinks the election is in the bag for the GOP. Reminds me of the guy who starts the touchdown dance on the two yard line, then fumbles.
