Things that stand out to me: 1) Johnson County in dark red as by far the highest income inequality in the US. 2) The least income inequality is in the underpopulated dying rural ranch counties. Does less income mean less inequality? 3) Not necessarily. The highest inequality levels are in racially polarized areas like the souther black belt and the lower Rio Grande.
