The Pierce defense team is already hard at work:
Iowa coach Steve Alford walked from the court to the team locker room after practice Tuesday at Carver-Hawkeye Arena as reporters waited to speak with him. Haddy said Alford would have no comment.
On Monday, according to the Iowa City Press-Citizen, Alford said, "It's taken on a life of its own, and I don't think there's anything there."
