Bailey Elected Mayor
Regenia Bailey was elected as the new mayor of Iowa City by the City Council today (Iowa City does not have a directly elected mayor), succeeding Ross Wilburn. Also today, Matt Hayek and Mike Wright officially took office.
Also new in leadership:Board of Supervisors chair Rod Sullivan. (That's a drama-free, de facto rotation system.)
