The congressman will be in West Liberty for a birthday fundraiser for House District 88 candidate Sara Sedlacek: Saturday, July 7, 2012, 6:00 pm, at the home of Emily Geertz, 1118 N. Walnut St. Suggested donation $25. It's a hog roast and sources say it will be fun for the whole family.
Loebsack's opponent, John Archer, will be in Coralville at 11:30 for the grand opening of Johnson Cunty Republican HQ at 89 2nd Street (better known as Highway 6) Also on hand: House candidates Bobby Kaufmann (HD73) and Steve Sherman (HD77).
(Anyone heard of third party contenders in this or any of the Iowa congressional races?)
