Friday Cat Caucus Blogging

Friday Cat Caucus Blogging

Saw this yesterday, saved it for cat blogging Friday:

Asmussen's book, "Dog vs. Cat: A Nation Divided" takes an amusing and satirical look at mud-slinging presidential campaigns.

In the segment on the Iowa Cat Caucus, candidate Mittens is hoping for a bucolic photo op showing him lapping up fresh cow's milk on an Iowa farm. But scandal erupts over revealing footage of the cow that the campaign provided to local newscasts...

Our photo model is Dylan, the Demo-Cat.

Speaking of cats, it seems their opinions DO matter:

The owner of DataUSA Inc., a company that conducted political polls for the campaigns of President Bush, Sen. Joe Lieberman and other candidates, pleaded guilty to fraud for making up survey and poll results.

According to a federal indictment, Costin told employees to alter poll data, and managers at the company told employees to ''talk to cats and dogs'' when instructing them to fabricate the surveys.

Also interesting that kissin' cousins W and Joementum are sharing a pollster. Told ya so in 2000...
